A staple in my neighborhood, love going for the live music and jazz and the great drinks, esp late night. I've been multiple times and the cocktails are usually pretty strong and there's an amazing menu. There is also food. It's usually packed so best to get a resy!

This place is an absolute hidden gem in New York City, and a must try! The civilian hotel itself is amazing as well and this is just an added bonus. Tucked away on the second floor you are transported to an elegant and tasteful cocktail lounge with high ceilings, tasteful decor and the best part, live Jazz music on Friday's and Saturdays! There are multiple tables to sit at as well as some standing tables and then seating at the bar. I went with a friend this past weekend and we both enjoyed it immensely. They have a very unique cocktail menu and the service is truly impeccable. We loved the Jazz that we heard which was a singer, pianist and an upright base. There is a six dollar extra charge which goes directly to the band on all checks when live music is available. Make sure to check out around the corner on the second floor the blue room which is behind some curtains. It has the vibe of a private cocktail lounge but is really beautiful and worth taking a look. They have amazing Broadway memorabilia that you can view and it's a must see in my opinion-especially for Broadway fans. What I love about this hotel and the multiple bars/lounges is that it is right near Time Square but does not have that touristy feel-it feels like you are transported to a truly special place. If you can check out the rooftop bar as well it's worth a peeK.

Had a drink on the second floor open-air seating with colleagues. The ambiance was fantastic. We all eyed the burger but had dinner elsewhere so did not partake. Would definitely go back!

I'm thrilled to have returned to Rosevale for the second time, and it didn't disappoint! The ambiance was just as charming as I remembered, and our hostess went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We started with two expertly crafted cocktails, Everywhere all at one and Fever Dreams which were both delicious. The charcuterie board was also a highlight, offering a well-curated selection of artisanal cheeses and cured meats. The meats were the highlight though! The martini flight was a fun experience, with the original being a bit too potent for my taste, but the other two options were exceptional. Overall, our experience at Rosevale was outstanding, and will come back again!

There is a lot of space here, and it is very impressive, especially in midtown, near Times Square. For the drinks, they were complex and boozy, my style. The menu concept is very graphical and the drinks are well made, and have a diverse range so you can find a fit for everyone's tastes. They are also very pricey, but I guess it is the premium for the space and the vibe you get. This is one of the few places in the city where you can have a real conversation without losing your voice or your eardrums. So for an extra $5 on my cocktail I guess that is fine.

In a word, fantastic. It may not seem impressive as you walk in, but that's because it's their restaurant on the first floor. As you walk up a long, winding stairs you will enter a different world. Two story high display of vermouth bottles, warm and intimitate darkly lit setting, it's a night for romance. It really feels like something you'd see in the movies of old. A band playing jazzy swing-style music, a big menu of very original drinks (alcohol and zero, if you just want the taste without the fun effects after), plus decent bar food. I say decent because it's not great, but it's also not why you come here. Whoever you take, even if it's only yourself, they'll/you will be impressed.

Ordered: The Laws of Alchemy Cocktail (~$23): Reposado Gran Reserva tequila, genepi, elderflower, apricot, black lemon, and beesaw Aya's take: We were in the area and decided to stop by Rosevale Cocktail Room for a quick drink. The downstairs is the Kitchen aka the main restaurant but once you go inside and go upstairs, you are led to the Cocktail Room. It has a rustic yet modern and intimate feel to it from the high ceilings to the brick walls to the art scattered throughout. Really great spot for some pre- or post-dinner drinks! The Hero's Journey Cocktail Book was quite thorough with 6 different chapters that highlight unique cocktails in each. The Laws of Alchemy was in the "Crossing the Threshold" section. It's meant to be imaginative and playful and the commitment and exhilaration of uncharted territories. I love how much thought was put into this menu and I knew the drinks would follow suit. It was beautifully crafted, the flavors were well-balanced, and it was incredibly smooth. This might be so niche but I liked that the ice cube was clear; not only is it aesthetically pleasing but allows you to enjoy the drink more evenly with every sip. Price is slightly higher than normal but it's justifiable as it wasn't your typical cocktail. Lovely spot to enjoy some cocktails; highly recommend!

My friend made a Resy for the cocktail room on a Wednesday at 6:30 for four of us. We got there early and there was plenty of seating and we had the option to sit indoors or outdoors. On a warm day, sitting indoors was not significantly cooler because the doors were open to the outside. We sat in our own area indoors and though it was dark, it was very vibey. If you sit outdoors, you definitely will have more light, even at night. My friends and I came to a rosevale because we saw the girl dinner offer (salad, fries and dirty martini) on social media. Unfortunately, it is only for the kitchen downstairs (first floor) which I don't think you need a resy for. We decided to stay anyways! I got the jungle cruise cocktail from their book, made with orange gin, pineapple, lemon, toasted coconut, champagne and more. It was absolutely delicious. They had so many unique cocktails in their book and would absolutely try another. The sliders come in two and are pretty small. The truffle fries were good with a mayo truffle dipping sauce The live music was a nice touch and since we were sitting to the side, it wasn't too loud. Our server was not the friendliest, but she came by enough times and they were all quick to take things away when it was low/empty. Just a note, you have to go in knowing this is a pricey spot. Ex: Two tiny sliders for $18, fries for $14, a Diet Coke for $6 and a cocktail is $21-22 They do have a Negroni happy hour from 7-9 for $15 Overall a good experience
